This stunning gold dollar was issued to commemmorate the Panama Canal and was offered for sale at the San Francisco Panama Pacific Exposition. Only 25,000 were minted making this coin a real collector's item. The obverse has a workman facing left and the reverse has dolophins above and below to symbolize the two oceans. This particular coin is in Almost Uncirculated condition with some scratches unseen to the naked eye.
